The Ultraspec® Retractor is a sterile, unbreakable speculum with a sidewall retractor to ensure an unobstructed view of the cervix. Medical professionals report increasing incidences of vaginal side wall prolapse, which can restrict visibility, access and slow down examinations leading to costly referrals for procedures to take place under anaesthetic. Used alongside our Medium and Medium-Long Ultraspec® speculums, the Ultraspec® Retractor is designed to further open the vaginal sidewalls to increase visibility and access, and help to prevent further hospital referrals.
Made from advanced polymers, the Ultraspec® Screening speculum and the Ultraspec® Retractor are both unbreakable in normal use, preventing a potential shattering and associated injuries to both patient and healthcare professional.
