Medium Range Container Accessories

The Sharpsafe® Medium Range Accessories are designed to support safe, efficient sharps disposal in fast-paced clinical environments. These accessories enable the implementation of Near Patient Sharps Disposal (NPSD) systems, helping to reduce the risk of injury by ensuring containers are always within reach and used at the point of care.

Reusable and compatible with multiple container sizes across the Sharpsafe® range, these accessories offer flexibility to adapt to varying patient volumes and clinical workflows. They are also easy to clean in line with infection control procedures, supporting hygiene and compliance in all care settings.

By keeping sharps containers at the point of use, these accessories help healthcare providers meet the requirements of EU Directive 2010/32/EU on the prevention of sharps injuries.

The range includes:

Backing Plate Bracket – Adaptable to a variety of existing horizontal rails and trolleys, these brackets allow containers to be securely mounted in diverse clinical environments.

Stand – Provides added stability for containers in high-activity areas, reducing the risk of tipping or movement during use.

SafeClip System – An innovative and highly adaptable solution for securing containers from 1L to High 9L. The SafeClip bracket can be mounted to walls or used with a variety of adaptors—including round, square, diamond, or Medi-rail fittings—to attach securely to poles, rails, and trolleys. This makes it one of the most versatile systems available for sharps management.
